5 Things to do when in Riviera Maya, Mexico

When in Mexico...

5 things to do in the Riviera Maya:

1) Stay in an All-Inclusive 5 Star Hotel.
There are very little restaurants around Riviera Maya and you definitely want a private beach! I recommend El Dorado Seaside Suites by Karisma. The staff are amazing alongside the exquisite food and it lives up to its 5 stars.

2) Book a tour visiting Tulum Ruins
Spend a day absorbing and interacting with the most amazing Mexican Culture. The ruins are beautiful and the history behind them is phenomenal. When visiting the Ruins, have in mind it is not an all day tour. We booked it with the Natural Water Park.

3)Book a tour to Xel Ha- The natural Water Park/aquarium
Xel Ha is one of the best places I have ever been to in the world. You can snorkel into the caves, snorkel from fresh water to sea water and go swimming with dolphins.
*For both the Tulum Ruins and the Water Park remember Mosiquito Repellent and Biodegradable Sun tan Lotion!

4) Eat Eat Eat!
When we stayed at El Dorado Seaside Suites they had a wide selection of different restaurants. However, the most exquisite (obviously) was the Mexican. Boy do they know how to make salsa. Nothing like Doritos own brand! It is extremely fresh! Breakfasts are full of pancakes and fresh fruit and lunches pizza and burgers. Lets face it I didn't spend a day hungry and the extra pounds on the plane home was definitely me. Oops.

5) Relax and get a Cocktail!
All inclusive pool/beach side cocktails are a must. The heat does leave you parched so why not! But more importantly, this type of holiday is about relaxation. Take a good book and absorb the rays. My Holiday Book was 'The Girl on the Train' (review on blog). But seriously, the beach views are incredible and have the best sunbeds.

GRACIUS MEXICO for the best holiday!
