A Very Berry Christmas!

This Christmas I've had a tiny obsession with all things berry. I've been loving wearing a gold eyeshadow with a berry-toned lipstick. Christmas means tight on money. But these products are all drugstore and inexpensive giving you a very berry Christmas on a budget...

Frosted Plum Hand Cream
If you have not smelt the Frosted Plum range in The Body Shop you are truly missing out. More importantly, this hand cream has a non-greasy formula and instantly absorbs into your hands. The wonderfully light gel-cream leaves your hands smelling sweet and feeling incredibly moisturised. You can pick up this 30ml tube, perfectly fitting to your handbag, for only £4. If the wintry weather is leaving your hands as dry as mine are or you've worked extremely hard this year, your hands will love you for this generosity and TLC.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick- Shade 30 £5.49
I'm so surprised with the quality and pigmentation of this lipstick. It's a purple toned red that creates a perfect berry toned lip. The lipstick does last the 8 hours it claims and drys matte. The formula is infused with black diamonds which means it reflects light like never before. Better yet, the lipstick shade was chosen by Kate Moss herself. Therefore, you all know the product is only going to present flair, edge and class. This really vamps up a gorgeous gold eyeshadow look and suits a cream jumper. The perfect christmas berry.

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner - Shade 'Under my Spell' (105) £3.99
Obviously, when you buy a lipstick, you need a lip liner to match. Although the lipstick is a tiny more pink toned than the lipliner, it was the closest match I could grasp. They do work well together. Although, the lipliner can be worn on its own due to the fine but thick tipped end. This really is a great lipliner due to the precision it creates and the full-colour look. One thing I have found is that due to it not being a pencil, it feels extremely soft to apply. The texture feels extremely luxurious and when applied it contends with the likes of Mac Cosmetics Lipliners. Rimmel Lipsticks and especially their lipliners are very under-rated. They are inexpensive and apply with ease. But also, the pigmentation is phenomenal and they feel more expensive than they are.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Mattes - Shade 'Divine Wine' (975) £6.99
And because every girl needs more than one berry toned lipstick. Firstly, I came to know of this product through the Youtuber Kaushal Beauty and I, originally, only went to Boots to purchase this - oops! This is more of a red toned berry, as it's rightfully called 'Divine Wine'. Although this is essentially a matte lipstick, it has a creamy texture. I have found that this product drys matte but almost has a creamy undertone to it. If this Christmas you've really struggled with chapped lips, this is a great lipstick to buy. Your lips hold onto every ounce of this product in a moisturised, smooth and more plumping manner.

Let me know of any berry products I need to invest in? I'm feeling a very berry Christmas (excuse the pun!). Also, let me know if you have found a perfect lip liner for Divine Wine, I'm still on the search.
