My Best Beauty Products of 2015?

In 2015, I really invested some pounds into trying out new beauty products. Usually, I stuck to Mac Cosmetics and nothing else. But as an extensive reader of beauty blogs, I definitely found myself purchasing more and trying new products. Some products I have not loved but some I have. These have been my great finds of the last year...

The Bases:

Nars Sheer Glow:
You were probably expecting this! This year has been hard in finding a foundation that I would consider a holy grail product. I have been through Mac Studio Fix and Prolongwear, which turned out too yellow toned for my skin and broke me out. Having said all that, on a trip to London Nars stumbled into my basket and I will not turn back. The Nars sheer glow is magnificent in quality and I can proclaim that it has the best buildable coverage I have ever tried. This is by far a leading foundation that won't let anyone down and by far one that you can use all year round!

Soap and Glory: One Heck of a Blot- Instant Perfecting Primer:
For the beginning of 2015, I was using The Body Shop Instablur. It rolled up in a ball and it was hard to apply. I went searching for a primer that was actually going to apply to my face. After reading JasmineTalksBeauty, I saw she thoroughly recommended trying the Soap and Glory primer. I tried it and for an under £20 beauty product, I was amazed. The consistency is light and leaves your skin looking hydrated, fresh and prepared for the make up look ahead. It secures my makeup on all day and I have been extremely surprised with the excellence of this product. This was definitely one of my favourite finds of the year!

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate:
If I could vouch a product as a holy grail contender, it would be this. The Kiehl's Midnight Recovery was what my night time skincare routine missed. I wake up feeling comfortable in my own skin for once! This is a luxurious product that everybody should snap up. Not only have I found it 5 star on my skin but I read that it is great for cuticles and nail growth. It really truly is! Everybody loves a product that multi-tasks.

The Eyes

Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown:
This was a Pinterest find! I splurged out on the Anastacia Beverly Hills Pomade and ended up with a colour that was too dark. I was looking at colour matches on Pinterest when I stumbled across the Nyx Micro Brow Pencil. It was being compared as the drugstore dupe to the ABH Brow Wiz. I wanted to try the Brow Wiz after I read it was lighter and easier to use to the Pomade. Although, I loved the pomade and did find it easy to apply. Something about a pencil gives the impression of easier precision. Therefore, I gave it a try and now here it is sitting in my best beauty products of 2015. It is exactly of the same quality of ABH. It doesn't smudge and stays on all day. It is easy to apply and avoids slug brows.

L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Black:
This is a great liquid eyeliner. It is exactly what it says on the tin, the perfect slim. As the size of the end of the pen is thin, it creates great cat eye flicks for whatever look or style you are going for. It doesn't move from where it is applied and works even better with Mac Painterly Pots to accentuate the colour for a bare eyeshadow look.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash:
This has been the mascara I have pretty much used all year. It creates perfectly seperated and long lashes. It is long lasting and the brush grabs every lash curling them, lifting them and leaving them with a perfect satin finish. Benefit mascara's have always been the one's I have used. They truly are amazing!

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2:
Yes, it is well used! This would evidently be in my best beauty products of 2015. There's no need for words. Everybody knows the astounding quality of this product! Considerably, the most raved about eyeshadow palette from all beauty bloggers. This is my go to palette! It works well for every look and I always need it for some part of an eyeshadow look.

The Glow:

The Balm: Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter:
Easily the best highlighter I have ever tried. It really gives a great shimmer to your cheekbones whether it be for a night out or a day in the sun. It is a perfect golden toned highlight that leave your cheekbones looking luminous and lifted. The formula is a soft powder which is easily applied and blended. My make up collection would not be complete without it.

Mac Blush - Margin:
This is my all time favourite blush. It is bronze tone with a slight shimmer to it. It really warms up your face and gives it a sunkissed glow. The blush lasts all day and, again, it's a multi-tasking product! It can be used as a eyeshadow as it is extremely pigmented. Although, it is the perfect blush and I wouldn't use any other.

Maybelline Lumi Magique Concealer:
Although this states it is a concealer that can be used for imperfections, I purely use this for my undereyes and to highlight my nose and cheekbones. The formula is extremely creamy and has been noted as the YSL Touche Eclat dupe. It really is blendable and does a great job at concealing blue toned bags and redness. I have fallen in love with this product this year. The rose gold packaging makes the product feel even more fancy and elegant. I'm so happy I tried this because my make up collection would not be complete without it now!

The Lips:

Mac Cosmetics- Russian Red Matte Lipstick:
There is only one lipstick that would contend for my best beauty lip product. The Russian Red matte lipstick was the first ever Mac lipstick I bought after seeing it on Samantha Maria many years ago. I apply it with the Mac lipliner in Cherry and it doesn't budge all day. You see people wearing red lipstick with it all over their teeth but this literally doesn't budge or bleed, at all. It is a perfect dark red which suits more dark haired girls. It truly is the most gorgeous colour and as you can see it is well used! The matte is extremely drying so make sure you use a lip balm before applying! An absolute 5 Star product.

So that's my beauty product favourites of 2015! Let me know what you have been loving, I would love to hear.
