Go Nude this Valentines...

With Valentines round the corner, we are all going to be looking for that perfect nude combo. I have been growing my collection in nude lipsticks, glosses and lip creams, from drugstore to high-end. Although, I'm still yet to grab some more pink nudes and would love some recommendations. But here I have lip products from Mac, Nyx, Soap and Glory, L'oreal, Rimmel and MUA. All brands I would happily repurchase from time and time again. These nude lip colours are all to die for and will be a part of my collection forever. Here they are...

Mac Cosmetics Nudes:

Whirl Lipstick and Lip Liner: I have featured these two products on my blog before. So for a lengthy review, go to: http://bit.ly/1PD6v23. In short, this is my favourite nude combo. It gives a dirty rose, in other words pink toned brown, colour to your lips and is extremely flattering with a bold eye look.

Velvet Teddy Lipstick: A matte deep-toned beige. Need I say much about this Kylie Jenner Lipstick? Everyone knows of this gorgeous lipstick. Velvet teddy, I think, is suited better to being paired with Whirl lipliner, as opposed to Soar. This with a dramatic liner and brown, golden smokey eye is to die for.

Shy Girl Lipstick: The cremesheen nude. Shy girl is a creamy neutral coral beige. The colour is the least satisfying on my skin tone when I am not tanned. This nude is perfect for tanned skin so I tend to use it after a few sun beds. The consistency is, however, my favourite. Once applied, it leaves a moisturised feel to your lips. Unlike most moisturised lip products, the colour is extremely pigmented; as we all know Mac Lip products are.

NYX Cosmetics:

Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm: A lip product that is neither gloss nor lipstick. On application, the lip product feels like a cream but it eventually sets to a matte finish. Unlike many matte lip products, this lip cream feels moisturising and doesn't dry in-between those wintery chapped cracks. It layers on silky smooth and stays on for the majority of the day. I would say I apply this, at most, twice throughout the day; first application and only one more application is needed.

Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake: Now if you're feeling glossy, this extremely pigmented gloss is the one to go for when desiring a pink nude. May I just add, all NYX lip products taste and smell like sugared cookies. This can be applied lightly for a perfect creamy sheen or medium coverage that melts onto your lips.

Butter Gloss in Praline: Similarly to Angel Food Cake, it applies on in a butter-like gloss. It is non sticky and doesn't have that gloopy consistency. Unlike the AFC, the colour is a browny nude that compliments Whirl lipstick very accurately. It is all day wearable just to make this product even more irresistible.

L'oreal Colour Riche:

Colour Riche Collection Exclusive Nudes in Eva: As said, this is Eva Longoria's Lipstick shade and oh my it is gorgeous. L'oreal have stated it is a 'barely golden' shade. In elaboration, I would say it resembles a peachy pink nude. Again, this lipstick would look great in the summer with a tan. If you are brunette like me, however, this shade is really complimentary. It is a good moisturising lipstick and has great pigmentation. The packaging is very luxurious looking. The luxurious lipstick is in a black and gold cover with Eva's signature and, ultimately, doesn't feel like a drugstore product what so ever.

Soap and Glory, Rimmel and MUA:

Soap and Glory Lipstick in The Missing Pink: This is the perfect pinky nude! I feel Soap and Glory lipstick's are not raved about as much as they should be. This lipstick isn't just any ordinary lipstick, it is infused with many skincare benefitting ingredients. These ingredients are Shea Butter, Vitamin E and even Hyaluronic Acid. It really does leave your lips looking soft, smooth and plump. The colour is to die for, among all those benefits.

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in Eastend Snob (063): The inexpensive but most valuable lip product in my collection. This lip liner is a 'your lips but better' colour and really compliments a pink nude combo. It has a soft texture with full volume colour and definition. It has a fine tipped end and at an amazing price. Yes it is only £3.99!

MUA Lipstick in Shade 11: This product is the most gobsmackingly best of them all. It is again a dark pink nude with amazing pigmentation. On application, it is moisturising and glides on leaving your lips looking to die for. In my opinion, this is a lighter version of Whirl. Now for the best part this lipstick is only £1! It is equally as good as high end lipsticks and worthy of literally every penny.

So there you have it. These are my favourite nude colours. Here are the swatches:

I hope you enjoyed the post. What are your favourites nudes? If anyone has any pink nudes to recommend, I would love to hear from you. Comment below or send me a message on any of my social media accounts.
