Spring/Summer Lip Colours

It's Cultured Spring/Summer Lip Colours
As the sun has finally arrived for only two days in England, I thought I would share with you the Spring/Summer Lip Colours that I have accumulated. As the new year began, I realized I had stocked up on every nude possible, but had totally neglected pinks and coral lipsticks. Pinterest sorted me out. I searched for hours and must have looked at every pink and coral lip colour on Pinterest possible. I've found some right keepers from this to add to my collection (of about two I already had). In my Spring/Summer Lip collection, I have different formula lipsticks, liquid lipsticks and glosses, all from different brands. My Spring/Summer Lip Colours are almost complete. If you want to see the Spring/Summer colours I will be wearing then keep reading...

Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lip in Naked Ladies

It's Cultured Spring/Summer Lip Colours Colour Pop Ultra Satin Lip in Naked Ladies
Colour Pop has been on my wishlist for a while. On a Pinterest search, I discovered this beautiful shade. Trying out Colour Pop and adding to my Spring/Summer collection encouraged an inevitable purchase. Although, I've been interested in purchasing their Matte Lip Colours. There was something about the word Satin that drew me more in. In the summer months, my lips can become quite dry. The Colour Pop Satin Lip is sort of matte but nowhere near as drying. With this formula, you would think it will come off but it doesn't. It does not transfer and is super drying. So don't be fooled! Still apply a moisturising balm beforehand. For coverage, it is opaque, highly pigmented and long-wearing. Perfect for the long summer nights. As for colour, this is the most beautiful bright coral red. I was able to buy this on a UK site. If you are unaware of it, it is called House Of Beauty.

Maybelline Super Stay 24 Colour in Red Passion

After seeing this in Sarah Ashcroft's Holiday makeup tutorial, I quickly snapped it up. Was the 24 hour stay a big statement? No, absolutely not. It genuinely lasts 24 hours. The liquid lipstick is not too drying. It eve comes with its own balm at the end, which does not take the lip colour off. The balm almost acts as a translucent setting powder but it is extremely moisturising, which is an extremely good idea. Not only this, the liquid lipstick in itself is incredibly moisturising yet still extremely matte. The colour is the most beautiful cherry red and it exactly resembles Mac Lady Danger. I'm so impressed with this liquid lipstick and will definitely buy more shades from the range.

Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Tangerine

It's Cultured Spring/Summer Lip Colours Laura Mercier Creme Lip Colour in Tangerine
Before I start, I have found out today that this has now been discontinued upon writing this post. The shade Tangerine was my absolute dream Spring/Summer colour. It is the perfect coral-pink and the consistency is so buttery, creamy and moisturising. Although it is extremely lightweight, it is highly pigmented. Having said that the shade has now been discontinued, the lip range has not. They have another coral-pink colour within that range named Palm Beach, which looks equally as beautiful. I also contacted Laura Mercier on Twitter where they have referred me to the Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm in Creamsicle or Juicy Papaya as the perfect shade dupe to Tangerine. I'll be purchasing both and be reviewing them soon. But if you can find anywhere where you can get your hands on this again, I would love to know.

Mac Vegas Volt (Amplified) and Flamingo (Lustre)

It's Cultured Spring/Summer Lip Colours Mac Vegas Volt and Flamingo
Vegas Volt is by far one of my favourite Mac Lipsticks. Their Amplified Lipsticks are extremely pigmented and are the best cream finish in the Beauty industry. If you like their Matte lipsticks but find them just a tad too drying, then their Amplified lipsticks are perfect. They are like a creamy matte. Vegas Volt is a full power Coral and with a tan, it is just utterly beautiful. As for Flamingo, it is a Mac Lustre Lipstick. Lustre are not my favourite consistency, but are still worth purchasing. They are highly pigmented, buttery and moisturising. If you are looking for a pigmented balm-like lip product, this is perfect. The shade Flamingo is like a toned down coral-pink, milky and light. It can even be said that it is like a semi-gloss finish.

Rimmel Moisture Sheer and Shine Lipstick in Spin All Spring
and L'Oreal Xtreme Resist in Never Let Me Go

It's Cultured Spring/Summer Lip Colours Rimmel Moisture Renew Spin all Spring and L'Oreal Xtreme Resist in Never Let me Go

Both of these shades were featured in my Beauty March Favourites, check out the post here for a full review. I will briefly sum up the shades here. The Rimmel Lipstick is a perfect Peachy Coral, an absolute necessity in my Spring/Summer Lip Colours. The L'Oreal Xtreme Resist Lip Gloss is a stunning Rose Gold with a slight Coral tint. If you want to gloss up any of the lip shades in this post, I would highly recommend using the L'Oreal Xtreme Resist in Never Let Me Go. As I said, for a full review head to my Beauty March Favourites here.

    1. I actually bought this Colour Pop Liquid lipstick from a website called House of Beauty (url is www.houseofbeauty.co.uk). They don't charge copious amounts for shipping because they are situated in the UK and they are not overly price. The delivery came so quickly. So would definitely try that website out!
