The Benefit Brow Collection

Benefit Cosmetics Brow Collection - Ka Brow, Precisely my Brow, Gimme Brow and High Brow
When I first started to use makeup, doing my eyebrows was something that I never thought about in my makeup routine. I used to pluck them every couple of weeks but that was it. Well, pluck until they were non-existent and shapeless. Now, my eyebrows are my main priority in my makeup routine. I have my brows done by a HD Brow technician every 5-6 weeks and I have bought and used many eyebrow products. In fact, I have invested fortunes into eyebrow products. When I was about 17, I bought my first ever eyebrow pencil. And shock, it was the Rimmel one that every teenager had. Then I eventually found the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings, and then the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow, which both were bought due to their popularity. Ever since I have been hooked on maintaining my brows and feel extremely bare without doing them in my makeup routine. When I heard that Benefit Cosmetics were going to be bringing out a new brow product range, I remembered just how much I loved the Brow Zings palette of theirs. I knew that because of the current trend to achieve Cara Delavigne/Kardashian brows being extremely popular within the makeup industry,  Benefit Cosmetics' new brow range was going to be a show stopper. And oh boy is it! Move over ABH, Benefit Cosmetics are the new brow queens!

Benefit Cosmetics Brow Collection - Ka Brow, Precisely my Brow, Gimme Brow and High Brow

The Benefit Cosmetics Brow Collection saw the introduction of some new products and the reproduction of some old. As always, the Benefit Cosmetics packaging is super quirky - and I can't seem to be able to throw any of it away - and the silver products all look so cute on your dressing table. Although I did not purchase every item in the collection, the four I do have will forever be in my makeup bag and I will be purchasing more from the collection. The collection literally has something for everyone, whether you have thin, sparse or thick brows! Or if you are after a specific item, from gel to pencils to eyebrow tools... Benefit has got you sorted! Let's go through what I have...

Benefit Cosmetics Brow Collection - Ka Brow, Precisely my Brow, Gimme Brow and High Brow

Benefit Cosmetics Ka Brow

KA Brow! - Cream-Gel Brow Colour with Brush

Ka Brow was the product I was most excited to purchase. As I said, I have used the ABH Dipbrow Pomade before but I found that it was way too harsh and it dries ever so quickly. The attribute that really attracted me into buying Ka Brow is that it was advertised as a creamy gel, which can create soft and natural looking brows or you can build it up for a dramatic brow. In terms of the formula, it is much lighter than the Dipbrow from ABH. In contrast to the Dipbrow, Ka Brow is also much softer and a lot easier to work with to sculpt and define the brow. Ka Brow is quick and easy to use and waterproof. If you aren't sold yet, the cream-gel brow even lasts up to 24 hours. I haven't worn it for a full 24 hours but it does last all day and it does not budge. I like to use Ka Brow to shape and sculpt out my brow, and as the product is buildable you can fill the brows in softly at the beginning of the brow and harsher towards the end. Overall, I'm so impressed with Ka Brow! It even comes with a disguised brush in the lid that makes the product even more amazing and perfect for travel too. I use it in the shade 5, which is the perfect match for me. The product comes in 6 different shades. If you are worried about your shade match, Benefit Cosmetics has a great description of each one on their website. Ka Brow is by far my favourite out of the products I have bought!

Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brow Eyebrow Pencil

Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil

Precisely My Brow Eyebrow Pencil is a perfect dupe of the ABH Brow Wiz and the Nyx Micro Pencil. Having said that, this product is much more pigmented and again easier to work with. The product allows you to draw in natural looking hair-like strokes into the brow, which is ideal if you have sparse or thin brows. If you have shapeless or undefined brows also, this product again will allow you to create the illusion of a killer brow. The brow pencil is easily blended, rich in colour and budge proof. Just like the ABH Brow Wiz and Nyx Micro Pencil, it is dual-ended with an ultra-fine tip and a spoolie-brush. Just like Ka Brow, the brow pencil is waterproof, lasts up to 24 hours and again I can say that it is budge-proof. I use this alongside the Ka Brow just to add more hair-like strokes into the sparse areas in my brow. The one thing I will say is that because it is rich in colour, you need to be quite light handed with it. Otherwise, hello slugs.
Benefit Cosmetics High Brow Pencil

High Brow Pencil

If you are a true fan of Benefit Cosmetics, you would have probably tried the High Brow Pencil before. It is a creamy eyebrow highlighter, which accentuates the arch in your brow for brightened and boosted younger-looking eyes. The High Brow Pencil is a light pink colour that works well with all skin types. Although I have a very yellow skin tone, I do blend in the High Brow thoroughly and apply it with a very light hand because the pink can be too light. Having said that, once blended my eyebrows look a million dollars. The difference it makes to my brows is incredible. It really lifts the arch and just adds that finishing touch my brows need. It is extremely natural-looking and because of its creamy formula is a dream to blend. I will never miss out this step from my eyebrow routine now. Where has High Brow been all my life?! I definitely will be purchasing the new High Brow Glow, which is more of a champagne-pink and a better fit for my skin tone.

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow

Gimme Brow

I purchased the recent Glamour Magazine, purely to test out Benefit Cosmetics' Gimme Brow. I was not 100% on buying this product, so the generous Glamour Magazine sample was perfect. Thankfully, they even had my shade (shade 5). Gimme Brow comes in 3 different shades and again is a product that has been around for a while. If you need a product that adds volume to your brows or if you are having a minimal makeup day but can't stand bare brows, this is the product for you. I do use this to set my brows after using Ka Brow and Precisely my Brow Eyebrow Pencil. Gimme Brow contains tiny microfibers that adhere to skin and hairs and help to create fuller looking brows in a matter of seconds. When the Benefit Brow Collection was announced, I watched all the press event videos and the beauty YouTubers who received the products trialling them. A beauty tip that I learnt from watching these videos was to use Gimme Brow in a backcomb technique. By lightly backcombing your brows, it makes them look fuller and volumised. I am definitely one of the 94% percent who can say this product makes my brows look much fuller and thicker. If you have sparse or thin brows, I would recommend this product. But even if you have thick brows and don't need products (the lucky ones), this is a great product just to add a bit of colour and set them in place. I'm so glad I tried and tested it and thankfully it works so well for me! I will be purchasing and repurchasing it time and time again.
So those are the brow products I bought from the new Benefit Cosmetics collection. Overall, my favourite is Ka Brow but I love them all equally as much. 1. I haven't tried the first three you mentioned but they sound amazing! If you say they're better than ABH, I have to give them a try. I need to repurchase the Gimme Brow. I've been without it for the longest time and I just need it back in my life again, haha. It's such a great product! :)
